Hey guys,
I am getting a product prototyped and I made it in solidworks. The prototyping shop uses pro E. What is the best way and format to get them my product?

Any help would be great since I am just learning.

Thanks

I found out sorry for the dumb question.

I'm guessing a Parasolid.
Best to call them and ask what would they prefer.

SolidWorks can save in Pro/E format, but I'm not sure if it will have all the parametric features you would normally find in a Pro/E model. (I'm guessing that it wouldn't.) So if your vendor can accept neutral formats such as Parasolid, it might make sense to go that route, as ctopher said.

designmu,
Not dumb question.
What format did you use?

It would probably be STEP if it's translated out, but SW can save out to Pro-E - Parts and Assemblies.
