Hi,

When I move a Drawing View, several of the dimensions does not follow (even though they are selected). Therefore, I am unable to move a view without having to redo a whole bunch of editing.

How do I move a Drawing View without drowning myself in extra work?

You probably need to turn on parametric sketching. This will be a little icon with a picture of a pencil drawing perpendicular lines, with a perp, equals, and parallel symbol on the top. I don't know why this isnt enabled by default... but without it on none of your lines will stay attached to the drawing when moved.

Did you do a redraw after you moved the view? I have seen symbols and notes that are view related not move when the view is initially moved but they will jump to the correct location after a redraw.

There are quite a few ways to associate dimensions, notes, etc to views. I prefer snap lines for most drafting.
