problem on R14 when you would changed sket in solid

I have made a sketch in a solid. I want to changed one reference in the sketch. I can't chose an edge in the solid because the feature that I see is the last feature.(the feature made by the sketch that I want to edit). And if I use "define in work object", all the features dissapear. It's becoming impossible to update or modify the sketch in that condition. If your sketch is in "Geometrical set", when you edit it, all the features appear in red. The "define in works object" go down at the end of the table tree.

Can someone help me. The only thing that I can do is delete all the feature that comes after the sketch and remake all the part.

I work on V5 R14 SP4.

I'm having trouble following... Are you trying to use the edge of a solid made by a sketch in the sketch that makes the solid?

If so, that's a circular reference... you can't do that.

I fond the problem. It's my cad setting. I don't know why but it seems that some cad settings prevent going back in the feature table tree to make modification.

Yes, in the settings, the Enable Hybrid Design is at on. Could you tell me what is it for?

If you don't understand Hybrid Desing, you had better turn it off. Hybrid Design in R14 is where you can put wireframe geometry and solid geometry in the same body. This body is heirarchical like a solid (or an Ordered Geometric Set), and as such, the wireframe behaves very differently than you are used to. Disappearing geometry like this is just one symptom.
