Problem with pasted images in Mathcad 12

I pasted some images from one mathcad file to another and everything looked ok, then when I reopened the file the images had been replaced with blue chequered rectangles. I have also tried pasting from Mathcad to paint and then back to mathcad but the same thing happens when I reopen the file.

Doe anyone know how to fix this or what the problem is??

I had the same problem. It has been around for a long time. As I recall, pasting into another program before pasting into Mathcad seemed to solve the problem. There is a item on the MathCad forum about this. There are other solutions but pasting into Word, Excel or mspaint (if I remember properly) solved the problem.
