We have an HP 750C+, and two CAD stations both running AutoCAD 2004. We recently started having a problem with the plots from both computers matching in light weights. One computer prints the drawings much lighter than the other. Both computers are using the same line weights (I went through and compared both, I even deleted the ctb off the computer that is printing too light and copied the one off of the correct computer). Does anyone know what would cause this? This only started happening within the last couple of weeks. I don't know what else would affect the plot.

Thanks in advance.

I started using the AutoCAD drivers rather than the Windows drivers and that has fixed the problem for me.

We use AutoCAD drivers and create plt files. After a few hours of checking system variables, I found the solution. The line weight defaualt was different on the 3 machines. One machine was at 25, another at 16 and the last at 9. I changed the 16 & 9 to 25 and all 3 print the same now. Type LWDEFAULT on the command line and switch it to 25.
Hope this works. It worked for me.
Thanks
