Hi Everyone,

I tried to create a stamp with the self-defined punch and die. But when I tried to apply them to a surface(planar) with the user stampling tool, the system gives the error: "The face selected must be planar"?

What should I do? This message seems very popular to be seen in the sheet metal design.

Sheetmetal Design only works with Planar Walls (and in a few cases Cylindrical and Cones).

If you have a compound surface, you need to use Aerospace Sheetmetal Design.

Never mind. I restarted the machine and this time catia works.

Thanks catiajim anyway, I will try Aerospace Sheetmetal Design myself since I have not help file for the aerospace sheetmetal now.
