Ok here goes.
I've been working on creating our company drawing sheets and standards into the inventor format. My problem seems to be that in my custom title block the text seems to not print correctly. The main issue I have with it is that the text is a very thin lineweight when printed and a few letters drop out completely. I have tried to change the text to bold and although I can see some change on the screen I can't see any difference in the printed product. I must also say that the text on the screen looks very rough as best I can explain.

Some background, I am mostly useing Simplex text style and am printing B size on an HP 5000 full scale and using hp5000 post script drivers. I am using 5.3 In ventor and have created the title block in a sketch in the drawing like the help files say to do.

Is there any way to change the lineweights for the text? Has anyone else had similar problems

The only thing I can think of is that with HP printers the setting to print text as graphics should be set to on.

Our Autodesk support center recommended downloading the latest printer drivers to correct this problem. In our case, Inventor was printing out certain characters as boxes. It seemed to work. If you are mapped through a print server, the server will need updated.

We had prob that letters all over the paper, fixed by putting x away from the printer setu on "use printer fonts" or something like that..
