I have a drawing of a 3d model, that im having problems printing.

I have one model that is shown in 4 vports in the layout window. Standard top, front and end evelation plus a 3D south west view.

I have them set to hide 3x and 1x shade, it show it all hidden and shaded on the screen but when i preview it or print it, it reverts back to a 3d wire mesh.

I have tryed the hide objects tick box and a cople other things, but it doesnt want to co-opperate.

Recommended for you

Select the view port frames, get properties dialogue box up, goto Misc and change 'hide plot' to yes. also set DISPSILH to 1 to get rid of those pointless tesselation lines. As far as I know you cant plot shaded you have to use render (unless you do a print screen and paste the image in)

Rel 2004 supports printing rendered drawings

You can always try the "solprof" command.
