Hi I Joined a engineering company and have been given the option to teach my self Pro E for a hour each day. I know the basics but need some thing to model. Are there any projects on web or elsewhere where i can model parts from 2D drawings and produce an assembly? I really want to make good use of this time.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

A good thing would be to find examples of parts and assemblies your company produces and create models from copies of the drawings. You might model older parts that do not exist in your cad system as yet or are in a different cad system. Ask your suppervisor or other engineers in the company.
