Professional Software with Comprhensive Data Bank for Materials 1

Dear Forum,

The material compositions and their properties are defined in different standards. It normally takes time to refer each standard separately and compilation of the required info.

Any body has idea- about the availability of an efficient professional software that is capable to quickly retrieve the releveant information about materials and welding electrodes. I mean a nicely compiled data bank.

The requirement excludes the standards itself.

You are looking for one of the Granta products, CES or MI. They are very nicely compiled, but expensive.

At the bottom left you have AtoZ Of Materials and there is also MatWeb out there. Should keep you going at no cost.
