projected area V5R9

what is the best way to make projected area from a solid?
is there any direct command in catia V5R9?

dear venkatanka
if u have the knowledge Advisor License u can use the Parameter "smartWetarea" Available in Formulae to get the Projected Area of the Solid.
Else the best i can think of is use the EXTRACT Command in GSD with Point Continuity Option to get a single surface of ur Body and use the Measure Icon to get the Surface area of the Extract. this will be equal to the solid projected area.
