I need to get a output pressure that is proportional to the input pressure, using a manual accutuator.
HUSCO has a manual hydraulic pilot pressure controller that comes close. But the output pressures have
a set output range. If I could adjust the output range, this device would work.

1) Is it possible to 'divide' a pressure accurately? I have had some success using two needle valves, but
I'm not sure that this is the best method. Any ideas??

2) Anyone know of an adjustable (upper and lower pressure) pilot controller??

Any advice will be appriciated.

WE USE A REXROTH MOTORIZED PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE THAT IS CONTROLLED BY A PLC, USING INPUTS FROM PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS. I DON'T KNOW HOW WE COULD DO THIS MANUALLY.

I can't understand why you would want a valve to follow the pressure you already have. You will have to explain it to me. The Hussco valve is a proportional pressure reducing valve used to operate larger prop. valves and pumps. The set pressures are comon for all manufactors.
Dividing pressures.
Remember pressure is present due to restrictions or load. If you have two needle valves connected to the same inlet and outlet to tank, you can probaly balance the pressures. Why you would want to do this is another question seeing you aren't doing any work.
You can use two electric proportional reducing valves with two pots, which can be manualy operated. That might answer you first question!
Then you can set the seperate lines to what ever you want. Or electronicly control the pumps pressure.
Let me know what you are trying to do, and I"ll try to help further.
