Protection of CS pipe carying compressed air at 200 bar

Dear sir

I have faced a situation where pipe has corroded internally. Suggest protective lining inside pipe its is dia 16". Length around 200ft.

The first question is does the corrosion threaten the integrity of the pipe?
If the pipe is still mechanically sound then you can look at ways to clean the inside and have a plastic lining installed.
But maybe you also try to figure out how to stop the corrosive material from getting into the line.

One concern is that the process may be contaminated as the internal coating was chipped out for some reason.
You may suggest to investigate what is the corrosion mechanism of the pipe, and consider to upgrade the pipe material to eliminate the corrosion issue.

You can eliminate the problem if you install driers. But that could be expensive.

If it's anything like the service air systems in my fleet all of the piping is below the receivers so the receivers will be in great shape.
