I am relatively new to this and need to know if there are any engineering standards that reference the following... If I have caps over all PSV vent pipes do I also have to have weep holes in the elbows on the compressor skids???
11.18.6 (Relief Valve Venting) of ISO 13631 says "If specified, atmospheric vents shall have weep holes at the lowest point near the relief valve." Thus, it seems that the purchaser has the option.
It's been my experience that weep holes can rarely be located such that water/ice etc. can be completely eliminated from the PSV outlet. They make very good tattle tail socks to fit over the outlet piping now days and I think that's much more effective.
