We'd like to better understand the action of PTFE powder when used as anti dripping additive in thermoplastics like ABS, PC/ABS blends, PBT, etc.
Particularly the type of PTFE that has the best effect and which charactericts should be chosen: High molecular weight, physical form, etc.?

Does the effect of PTFE as anti dripping expire after a certain time (one year)? Thanks to all of you in advance.

You can use PTFE powder as a antidripping filler just because PTFE is one of the most porous plastics. The best powders are for this reason the types with the highest porosity and a big diameter.
Ask Du Pont ore Dyneon for there specifications.
Best regards,
Ernst
