Publications in Process Engineering

Out of curiosity, is anyone aware of any publications, flow diagrams, reports, etc. published by process engineers?

I was under the impression that engineers did not give talks or publish papers as do scientists (i.e chemists, physicists), or at least were not expected to, but just wanted to verify that this is true.
