Hello Everyone,
I am currently working on a prototype to check if my idea works. I would really appreciate if you can answer my question.
I am trying to fill two small ballons using one small pump. The idea is to inflate the baloons with different volume of air. And when the pump is idle I want to maintain the ballons inflated without leakage of air. A tiny leakage is allowed which can be periodically regulated by the pump.
The initial Idea I had was to include two valves. The first valve will be a 2 way valve which is normally closed and sits right after the pump. The second valve is a 3 way diversion valve which sits right after the two way valve.
Steps involved to fill first ballon:
1. Switch on the pump
2. Open the 2 way valve
3. Set position 1 in diversion valve till the required volume is filled. Then close the two way valve and then the pump.
Similarly for the secondd ballon. One condition I have to respect is to control everything electronically. Other possibility is to include two pumps with two 2 way valves independently.
Is my idea going to work or is there a better way to simplify my idea? If I missed out an information needed I would be glad to give it PLease ask.
Thanks in advance
