The discharge pressure of a pump is lower than the calculated value of discharge pressure using the pump head. What could be the possible reasons?

Wrong calculation.
Unfortunately, the crystal ball is a bit foggy today, therefore having problems sighting all the necessary data that might help.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Could be anything from:
Lower inlet pressure
Lower density of fluid
Lower motor speed
Higher flow
Smaller impellor

All this assume this is a centrifugal pump and difference from your calculated values.

Unless you've had a specific test, a lot of pumps are only good for +/- 10% from the generic curve

Like artisis says, there is zero data here to help you any further.

The first question that comes to mind is, what type of pump is this? Centrifugal or positive displacement?

Then there would follow many more questions.

You could have excessive losses due to different piping/fitting/valve configurations from the pump calcs. If someone did a back of the napkin calculation, the pump could be running at a different point all together. Among a thousand other possibilities.

Maybe 50 cycle instead of 60 cycle power supply.
Damaged or corroded iimpeller, seals, piston seals,
Faulty motor.
Hot day.
Clogged suction..
Its a very long list

If it's a 3-phase electric drive pump, check the rotation. It could just be running backwards.

So many questions

So few answers....

As always when there is no useful information given.
