Hello,
If a pump is transferring water let says from discharging section of the pump to vessel at 100 Meters vertical and the same pump is transferring water from same point but to a vessel at 100 Meters horizontal. Could there be any change in the pump head since the distance from the pump is the same but their position is 90 degrees apart

You're trying to move a 10kg weight. which is going to be easier - lifting it 100m up a set of steps or pushing it 100m along the ground using a trolley. Unless the trolley is very rusty (analogous to a small diameter pipe) then lifting it 100m will take lots more energy than pushing it along the flat ground

If the pipe size and flowrate are the same and the horizontal end pressure is the same as the vertical end pressure then the pumps discharge head will change because there is more energy required to lift the water the 100m.

Considering the flow, destination pressure and pipe diameter for both the system one and the same. The pump discharging to 100m vertical vessel will be the governing case i.e having higher head, because it has to deliver 100m against the gravity.
