What basic measures can I take to minimize the damage a 50 HP motor will do to a slab as it cycles up to 3600 RPM and down repeatedly during the day? The pump/motor skid weighs about 1500 pounds and is mounted with (4) 5/8" anchor bolts. The slab is 12" thick with #5 on 12" both ways top and bottom. I have specified 4000 psi concrete. The owner is concerned that in 15-20 years the concrete will "powder" from the vibration and the pump will be "loose". Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance!
