Hi All,

OK I have my punch to set up which cuts holes in my metal sheet now I need to form it out using a die pushed into the hole formed by a punch.

Is this possible. I cannot find anything on this in Autodesk except for a few answers to posts say that it is being looked into.

Best Rgds,

Sounds possible to me.
Do you have a picture of a similar feature?
Is the feature similar to any of the built-in punches?

There are a lot of (older) punch tools at cbliss.com

Hi rollupswx,

Yep, the sixth one down is what I'm after so I'll play around with that to see if it gives me the end result I want.

Hi rollupswx,

Well I've spent most of today trying to get a handle on this without success and am now appealing for help. I attach the files downloaded from the link you gave earlier in the hope that you can point me in the right direction.

The first sketch for a Punch must have a single sketch Centerpoint (this is different than the older punch tools on the cbliss site).

Hi rollupswx,

Thanks for that.

Yes I was aware of that from my previous effort with Punches before, that's not to say I would have forgotten to add that into my sketch!!

Where I was falling over was on the Sweep. I've never used Sweep that close together, always having large arcs to work on. I had another go this morning and moved off the central point of the arc by a very small amount and the Sweep operation worked. Prior to that the Sweep operation wouldn't work and I was getting an error message which I couldn't work out.

Any further advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Best Rgds,

Dave R.
