Can anyone offer a link or advice on how to create one's own punch tool.

Create a Face.
Start a new sketch on the face and delete any auto-projected geometry.
Place a sketch point for locating the punch tool.
Continue creating features as needed.
Publish iFeature (as Punch).

made for Inventor 2008 but the basics are still the same.. In fact the whole process is probably still the same.

Just make sure you only have 1 center point..

Hi rollupswx & mcgyvr,

Got it!! I was going wrong in two places - Not putting a centre point and not using the Insert IFeature on the Manage tab.

My next question is on Dies - see my next post.
