After changing & editing our standard.idw a few times
(changing our title block, adding a logo and some sketched symbols)
I have a final version. But to my suprise our standard.idw has 'grown' to 2.46 Mb!
This is NOT because of our logo (a bitmap) cause when i had just added this
the file was about 1.3 Mb.

This would mean that 3 (simple)sketched symbols make the
idw grow more then 1 Mb....

In AutoCAD I used to purge a drawing when i noticed things
like this and I would be able to get rid of a lot of unused
blocks and layers.

Does Inventor have a similar command available?

Thanks,

I have tried the save copy as trick, but that didn't change the size.
Can anyone tell me how big an average sized standar.idw is?
Maybe the size we have isn't that big at all. (I am used to AutoCAD templates)

The image containing the logo I have used is about 500Kb,
a bit larger then necessary. further i use 3 simple sketched symbols containing "prompted entry" text.

Thanks,
