Hello, I'm learning ABAQUS at my new position. I have much more time with other simulation softwares, just trying to learn the picks and clicks with this interface (of which there are many).
I'm currently tasked with applying a nonlinear pressure curve from excel data. There are pressure values (normal to surface) that change with distance through a curved object. The curve's profile serves as the x value in distance (not x in the standard CYS). I was experimenting with using the equation, but I'm not sure how to relate it to the curve other than using a basic polynomial equation that almost fits the data, but not quite as it is quite noisy and nonlinear. Any advice on how to start or where to look? Thanks.
