PV Elite Report - Tubes of the bundle

Dear all,

I'm new to PV Elite and I'm wondering why the software doesn't print the tubes of the bundle calculation in the report.
This seems quite strange to me. Tubes informations are shown only in tubesheet calculation report.

Thanks in advance

What exactly are you looking for? A separate page for the tube calculation? The software checks and will tell you if the internal / external pressure calculations exceed the allowable stresses. These are very much tied to the tube bundle load cases.

Hello Morcuse, thanks for your answer.
All other software we use prints the cylinder calculation at internal pressure, in hydrostatic test, and external pressure (being a heat exchanger the latter is always present). I understand that of course tubes of the bundle always verify, but I find the pv elite report to be incomplete and does not fully meet the requirements of an ASME calculation.

PVelite checks and prints tubes required thickness under internal and external pressure at the beginning of ASME TS calculation.
After the sketch of the tubesheet configuration there are elasticity material properties and then tube thickness calculation.

What do you mean by:
"I understand that of course tubes of the bundle always verify" ?

Do you mean that tubes will always pass internal/external pressure calculations?

In my experience, this might not always be the case.
We have repaired old refinery exchangers, where the existing tube thickness will not pass
external pressurue calculations during shell-side test.
So be careful. Check all possible scenarios.
