PWB Trace Thicknesses 1

In looking at PCB / PWB copper trace thicknesses, it seems people talk in terms of 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 2 oz, and 3 oz thick copper. What does that convert to in inches or mm? Thank you in advance for any information. Bill B.

A further explaination to SteveSmith's answer is that 1oz copper is measured as .0014 thickness as the 1oz copper is evenly spread over a 1 square foot area. As you would guess, 1/2 oz = .0007, 2oz = .0028, etc. are simply multiples of that value. Take care...
