Q about Fire Hose Cabinet Requirement. 1

Hi! Good day to all. As the subject implies, I want to ask if there is calculation for firepump capacity based on fire hose cabinet only? I am searching here but only I found sprinkler systems in involved.

We have a renovation project and this house is only using 5 fire hose cabinet with no sprinkler system. I want to check if the existing firepump and jockey pump is enough for this said project. Thanks!appriciate your time

It sounds like a standpipe system. Likely Class III standpipe. Check the requirements in NFPA 14 for the requirements.

Yes. Follow the criteria in NFPA 14 for the standpipe requirement. You will need to provide a given flow and pressure for the cabinets.
