I have a situation where the peak flow OUT is calculated to be slightly larger than the flow IN.
Logically, i'm not sure i can think of a scenario where this makes sense... I've tried finer routing, and several different types of minor adjustments but cannot change the situation.
The township reviewer is questioning this, and i just wanted to know if there was a way to fix it, or justify that it can happen?

If it helps, specifically, the "pond" in question with the curious flows is actually and roadway inlet with a discharge pipe and the ponded area is the lowpoint in the road. There is both piped and overland flows directed toward the inlet.

HydroCAD will flag this condition with a warning message, indicating a problem with the model that should be resolved. You can click the message for further details and suggestions.

What is the exact warning message(s)? Also be sure to review any other warnings, such as "storage exceeded", which can trigger oscillations.

Otherwise I would need to see your HydroCAD project file. You can post it here or send it directly to HydroCAD support.

thank you for your response peter. i have eliminated an error that seems to have fixed the issue. This has caused another issue to deal with, but that is unrelated to HydroCAD! Again, thank you.
