QUESTION ABOUT CHS, RHS & SHS sections

Dear experts ,
I am confused when I use chs, shs & RHS SECTIONS with small thickness (less than 4mm) such as chs 48.3x2.6 and similar ones
my question is ,should I use AISE DESIGN CODE and consider it as cold formed profiles or use aisc
