Question about designing a cutting guide for a roof coil of a truck

Hey guys, any ideas on how to create a guide for cutting/shearing a truck roof coil.
Please see images below for ideas.

The idea is to have a handle extension and be able to guide the Nibbler/Shear through a channel/guide for a precision cut al along the width of the roof.

What is a "precision" cut?

Is this going to be part of a large scale plant and needs to be well thought out and highly engineered or it is a quick and dirty one off project?

I don't see how a nibbler is ever considered to be a precision instrument. Nevertheless, one would think that using pretty much anything with a straight, smooth edge, like a tracksaw guide would be sufficient for the mayhem a nibbler generates.

I guess a Unistrut trolley would be more than sufficient for the "precision" associated with a pneumatic nibbler.

For the same cost you could get a plasma cutter and make neater cuts much faster.
