We use UG manufacturing for our cnc machining and design and we want to get into the feature based machining.
Does anyone have anyone we could contact to learn more about setting this up
Everyone we talk to, from our resellers as well, don't know much about it. Even our guys here we sent out for training and they didn't give them enough information to do it. When questioned on setting it up the answer was this is just a basic course, you'll have to take advanced training, but no one offers advanced training for it
We really want to get this moving, is there anyone that can help us out or point us in the right direction

Thanks for your input

Great info---I passed this along to our team

One of the questions commonly asked is this, we have a range of holes say for a 1/2 tap--depending on the class and fit, the tap drill size ranges from .430 to .422 say for example

How would we teach a tolerance to say that any hole in between this size should be treated as a 1/2 tap

Is there any coding we would need to do or can the teaching handle this on its own

Thanks,
