Hello,
I am installing the stator bushings on an older GE generator. Under the CTs, there is an aluminum baffle with a silicone seal to go around the bushing porcelain. Three of the silicone seals fit tightly aroung the porcelain; three of the seals leave about 1/4 inch gap around the bushings. Can someone tell me the difference between the two seal sizes, and what the seals are used for? thanks
