Can someone tell me which radius of curvature to use if I have two underground segments ducts and that makes an angle using a manhole box instead of a pvc curve.
In this case, what degree of curvature should I use in the "Bend Radiuos" field requested by the "PULLING CABLE SOFTWARE"

You didn’t say what size PVC your using.
But for an example a 3” PVC 30 degree sweep has a 36” radius.

The question is about using manhole instead PVC bend, how can estimated the bend radiuos to use in the pulling cable software.
I need to know how make this simulation using the software.

Oh, I assume a sheave? What’s the radius of the sheave? Surely your not pulling through the manhole without a sheave or a guide..
You have left too many unanswered questions.
How big is the manhole?
What size sheave or guide?
Is there a man in there helping at all?
How long are the pulls?

Edit: I see 150 and 190.
I don’t see a cable size.
If it’s one cable say about a 2/0 that short it will about push. No need for a calculation.

Ok Ok, Of course when the project will be contructed is neccesary to use shaves inside the manhole, but the question is a generic question, how can I use the module "Pulling cabling" of ETAP to know the tension of the cable using manhole instead bend PVC.
What parameter I need to chance to use the software with manhole instead bend PVC.

For example, I can talk use a sheave of 8 inches of diameter, one manhole 1.5x1.5 meters and 1.8 meters of high.
I can have a man inside the manhole, tha pulls can be enought long, for example 200 meters.
The cable can be 4/0 XLPE, 15 Kv, 133%.
My question is the procedure in the software to get the correct calc in the maximun Sidewall when I use one manhole (any measure) instead bend PVC because I understand that manhole don't have sidewall effort.

Do I need put a big Bend Radiuos in the filed of the software?, what "Bend Radiuos" do I need use?

A free turning sheave, properly aligned, shouldn’t need to be included in the calcs.

One question more....is possible consider more than 90 degrees to the bend in a ductbank?

I see in the pullin cable module of Etap that field of the maximun bend angle is 90 degrees.
