Hello everyone, good day!
I am currently working in South East Asia, and I would like to know if in the states or Europe, does your company use Polarized Refrigerant Oil Additives (PROA) inside your chillers?
Because some company mentioned that their solution helps to prevent the carbon oil deposit, increasing the heat transfer capacity and maintain the condenser approach temperature at low and stable level.
I am wondering if these kind of product are commonly used in your country? Or it does not have any effect and its just a snake oil?
Thank you for your experience sharing and feedback, much appreciated.

Not useful, but mostly harmless.

The new generation of additives might actually help.
