Hi all,

Hope that ive posted at the right forum.

I'm looking for a valve that has those mechanical and geometric properties:

1. Quick action
2. Straight pass (with no bends, similar to a ball valve)
3. Electrical
4. Small in size
5. No flow abstraction when open
I need the valves for a system that i'm working on that will simulate the human airways (that's why i need them small), and the fluid that will flow through it will be a mixture of air and water nano-droplets infused with sodium and florescent particles.

As much as i know solenoid based valves are extremely fast, but i just cant find any that have a straight pass through the valve, what i found always has some sort of a bend or a "knee".

The reason i need it to be a straight pass is that the air-droplet mixture will be injected in to the system in a measured amount and i want that the deposition in the valve will be minimal as possible.

Thanks.

You probably need a pinch valve where the fluid flow in a soft tube (such as a tube made of silicon rubber) and it is pinched to block the flow and release the pinch to allow flow. However, this means very low pressure system.

THANK YOU!!
You probably helped me more than you know.
I dont have the experience yet, so sometimes i dont see the obvious or simple solution.
