I'm looking for some quick disconnect couplings made from plastic. They can't have any metal in the flow path, eg. no springs. I have found some on Colder.com but I need to get 2 sets which won't interchange with each other.

For example, one set will have a 3/4" hose tail and the other set will have a 1/2" hose tail but we don't want the heads to be able to interchange.

Can anyone recommend a supplier other than colder who make quick disconnect couplings as described above.

God bless.

Have you looked to see if Colder offers a key feature?
How about color coding? Or different tube diameters, thus different connectors?

Colder do a colour coding scheme alright but our client would prefer 2 seperate couplings that are not interchangeable.

It would be slow removing tubing on a constant basis but thanks for the idea.

I've gotton a reply from kentsystems.com but again they don't seem to have a coupling with no springs in the flow path. Seems Colder are the only company who do this. Their NSH series has a spring alright but it's not in the flow path. If we could get another coupling with 3/4" hose tail but which won't be interchangeable with the NSH series we'd be 'on the ball' as the man says.

Hi Scastillo,

All couplings on newage are cam operated. We juist want a quick disconnect snap fitting.
