"printer name is invalid" AutoCAD error Autocad2000i

When I click the printer icon, I get this message, sometimes. I have to then "control/alt/del" and exit the application to clear the error. I am running AutoCAD 2000i NETWORK VERSION (vanilla)on WindowsNT.
