Hi!

I heard precasters use Superglue for crack repair.
I am not sure how this will work in the concrete.
When I search the internet, I cannot find good info related construction use.
I guess this repair method is not popular.

Is this really proper repair product?
I wonder why they do not use Epoxy.

Thanks!

I can't speak for every precaster but we most certainly do not use Cyanoacrylate for concrete crack repair. We use a proper crack injection repair or surface sealant to repair any cracks deemed objectionable.

I have heard Epoxy called the "super glue" for concrete, but don't think it was literal.

If it is used for repairing ornamental precast concrete, the only reason I can think of is that it dries clear.
