I keep getting these two warnings when I try to submit my analysis and I cant understand what the mean. I know its a little bit useless if you dont know what my model is but can anybody help me interpret what these mean?

"There is zero FORCE everywhere in the model based on the default criterion. please check the value of the average FORCE during the current iteration to verify that the FORCE is small enough to be treated as zero. if not, please use the solution controls to reset the criterion for zero FORCE."

"There is zero VOL. FLUX everywhere in the model based on the default criterion. please check the value of the average VOL. FLUX during the current iteration to verify that the VOL. FLUX is small enough to be treated as zero. if not, please use the solution controls to reset the criterion for zero VOL. FLUX."

Thanks

I think I've seen this before when you just apply thermal loads with restraints and/or fixed displacements to the model and no actual 'forces' at all. Otherwise it could just mean you've forgotten to apply any loads at all.

I received the same 'zero FORCE' warning in a simple model I created of a cylindrical indenter pressing into a square block of foam. This model consisted of two steps: step 1 had a very small pressure (1 unit) applied to the top of the indenter, and step 2 ramped the pressure up to push the indenter into the foam. I received the warning in step 1. I think perhaps the pressure I chose to be applied to the indenter was too small, and therefore ABAQUS considered it to be zero, because when I increased the pressure to 6 units, I no longer received the warning message.
