Does anyone know where I could get an idea for what the insulation coefficient "R" of a 6 1/4" total thickness (including deck) LW concrete slab on 3" metal deck would be?

WillisV...are you looking for lightweight insulating concrete or lightweight structural concrete?

For lightweight insulating concrete, the R-value is about 1.1 per inch of thickness.

For lightweight structural concrete, the R-value is about 0.2 per inch of thickness.

Ron - true structural lightweight - not Perlite or anything like that - the 0.2 value was in line with what I would expect. Thanks!
