How do I change the "Plot Area" on a list of about 50-60 drawings to be plotted from "Display" to "Extents," when using the R14 Batch Plot Utility??

I have tried highlighting the list, but that didn't work.

Thank you for any help in this matter.

the file generated by Batch Plot is "*.bp2"

this is a text file, open in text editor like Notepad

edit -> replace

change: PLOT AREA","#D"

to: PLOT AREA","#E"

save file as "*-new.bp2" just in case you need back-up

hope this helps

I understand what you said to do, but when I opened the *.pb2 file, I relized that I had to change the "D" to an "E" in 77 places, (77 files need to be printed).

Do you know of any way I can change the "D" to an "E" for a bunch of files, at one time???

Thank you once again Ozzy84

in the text editor, are you using the Replace command in the Edit menu?

if so, then a dialog box will appear

cut and copy from my post to the correct fields

use "Replace All"

this will change all 77 entries.

Thank you very much for a bit more detail, that works. I'm not much of a programer, as you figured out, I'm sure, but I'm getting better at it.

Once again, thank you for your help.
