Racing Track / Circuit - Estimation of Asphalt work Cost

Dear All

We are mulling to start a racing track / Tactical Mobility Tracing Track in UAE

Therefore we are looking for a good source of construction index ( Rule of thumb) for the Circuit asphalt pavement work

the cost provided by an expert can be lump sum as per USD/m2including all earth work, bituminous work, and road marking or can be provided itemized.

Agree with cvg; this is a groundworks quotation cost. If the land you are working on is virgin & never be used I don't think one would require a SI (Site Investigation) Report. But if the site is a "brownfield site" (previously built-on) then a SI is needed by law. I'm not 100% on this so hopefully someone more qualified can confirm?

The contamination of the land will affect your earthworks price; along with volumes & surface treatments (obviously).

You could split the surfacing package from the groundworks package but you run the risk of additional costs where the surfacing contractor will claim the groundworkers left levels too low etc...
