RAM Concept Slab Problem 1

Hi all,

I'm having a simple yet frustrating problem modeling a 14" slab.

I input the slab info as usual (surface elevation = 0 and priority = 1). The problem comes when I view the slab in 3D: it's there, but with negligible thickness just like a sheet of paper.

Has anyone encountered anything like this? Thank you.

In the Ram Concept perspective plots, we sometimes only show the soffit so that you can see the tendons or rebar floating above the soffit without being occluded by the top surface.
If you want to see both, right click - Visible objects - Element tab and make sure the surface and the soffit options are both checked. Alternatively you can uncheck all three options and the slab will be shown as a solid (with edges).
It's also possible you are showing something other than elements in the perspective (e.g. mesh input or drawing import).
Finally, there are also a few optional controls on the right hand side, things that control the outline, transparency, etc. Play with those settings if you are still not seeing what you want.

There should be a scale button which looks like a tape measure. Select that and change the z-scale.

Thanks asixth, scaling perspective views in the Z direction is most helpful when evaluating tendon drape, but it can be applied in any perspective plot.
