I would like to check floor vibrations using the AISC DG11 method in Ram SS. I have wide-flange girders, bar joists @ 24" o.c. and a 3" slab on 9/16" form deck. Does Ram SS require composite deck instead of form deck?

Do I need to figure out a work-around for this?

Help please!

You can manually enter the data into the areas that the program does not deem as standard bays to be analyzed. I would read design guide 11, if it is an easy floor, there is no reason you couldn't do a quick hand calculation. Hope this helps.

Ram SS does not execute FloorVibe at all. It issues an error message and says that no composite deck properties are defined. No vibration check performed.

"Quick" hand calculations are proceeding slowly.
