Rapid Populating as Assembly Help - Catia V5

Hello Folks,
I have received a small aircraft assembly which has all the major structural items (Skins, Ribs, Spars, Brackets etc.) expect for fasteners. However, all parts do contain holes where fasteners are supposed to go. I also know which fastener to use...So I need to populate the assembly with fasteners on my end. The issue is that the fastener count is in low thousands which means that I could spend quite some time in populating alone based on my current knowledge.

I think there is an option in Catia V5 where one can speed up processes like above using "Reuse Pattern" command but I believe the command needs an existing pattern contained in a part.

Seeking help in getting pointers on a couple of questions:

1. Is there an alternate rapid method to populate an assembly in Catia V5?

2. Regarding "Reuse Pattern" method: My plan is to create a dummy part just for creating Fastener patterns. Again question is there any rapid way with in either GSD or Part Workbench to create fastener hole center points from hundreds of existing holes, lets say with in a sketch?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd use scripting capabilities... are the holes "true" holes, or circular pockets and such?
do your fasteners have axis-system defining mating point, surface?...
I'd create a part with hole-center-points (and axis normal to surfaces) and line up the fasteners based on those inputs.
search the forum, Alan was asking about holes previously

LWolf,
Sorry for the late reply. I have no idea on how to script in Catia. Actually, the file/Assembly I have is a step one...getting it from a different department who have upgraded to 3DExperience 2020...So not sure if they are true holes or not!

I will try to search around the forum this weekend...for the past few months, weekdays have become really busy.

Thanks for replying anyways...appreciate it.
