Rational and SCS loss method selection

Hi all,
I have one query, when to use rational method and SCS method for runoff calculation. is there in reference available.

That's a very complex question, which requires a comprehensive understanding of each method to answer fully. There have been many other threads on the topic in this forum. Try a search...

My quick answer: Use the SCS method unless your stormwater regulations actually require the Rational method. Although Rational method may look easier, it's not. Use the SCS method.
