Storage-Indication (SI) v Muskingum-Cunge (MC)
Is there a particular scenario or case where MC would definitely be the better option than SI? Other than a governing body's requirement or request....
Also, is there a major difference between the two other than the celerity aspects?

SI considers only the storage behavior of the reach, although HydroCAD also has the option to add translation (time lag) based on the travel time.

MC performs a more complex wave routing, and can be useful for especially long channels (thousands of feet). For most purposes SI is quite sufficient. For further details please see
