Good evening,

How can I set a reaction so as to activate a rib operation when a sketch is inserted through powercopy ? More than this, how can I instruct the rib operation to use that sketch ?

Best regards,

how could you have a rib to start with if this rib does have a curve to be build on?

Make a rib with a dummy (isolated) curve and then delete the curve. The part itself has an error, and then when I instantiate the "good" curve through a powercopy, the rib should know from the reaction what line has to use (the line is publicated with a constant name). I don't know if it can be done, I'm just asking.

I have the feeling the Rib does need a bit more than just a curve/line it need a plane for some direction, by default the plane is given by the Sketch.

If I had to try something I will make a curve parameter and a plane parameter, then with a relation I will assign some dummy geometry to those parameters in order to build the rib I would deactivate the rib. The rule would just change the relation to point to the new data and activate the rib.
