Reading the stress values from initial stress file

Hi,
How can I read the stress values (sx,sy,sz) at every integration point of an element from initial stress file?
Actually, I am doing the Fe analysis of a slope. In order to consider the initial stress because of weight of soil I have done an analysis. The initial stress file is containing some very small tension values at surface of soil which is not correct and I want to change them to zero.
