Many years ago I saw a paper which gave you some useful conversions/calculations for calculating pump flowrates - (estimates only)when you were short of other critical data or information.
One of these , I think, was a quick calculation using the pump's HP(or kW) capacity.
Can anyone help, or is my memory deceiving me?
Thanks in advance

Were these minimum flow calculations?

I think the Hydraulic Institute Standards have some information on this. I also have an older chart that I use for preliminary estimating purposes (minimum flow is a function of the suction specific speed and head) but unfortunately, I don't know the source.

If the latter will do what you want, give me an email address and I'll send you a copy.

Thank you for your response and thank you for your kind offer. My e-mail address is gemmash1@iprimus.com.au, if you would be kind enough to e-mail me the chart.
The reason I asked the question was that details on the centrifugal pump plate are unreadable(kelly and Lewis pump)and the only thing I got details of was the Motor HP(7.5HP)
Thanks again
